Here is my Time Line ..
APplied at the Sydney Nova scotia : - APril 2010
First File Number : - June 2010
Send Documents to Buffalo Sept 2010
File Number from buffalo April 2011
After that .. still waiting for medicals.....

SO I wuld like to kindly request any one who has the similar time line or even close to . lets get together in the journey and share each other  experiences... KInddly upload your TIme line as well .. Thank you !!

here is my status to date:

"We received your application for permanent residence on April 8, 2010.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on June 21, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
Your application and supporting documents were received by the Buffalo office. They are pending review.
 
We transferred your application to the Buffalo office on June 29, 2010. The Buffalo office may contact you. "

I then sent another application with additional info as requested to the Buffalo office in September (about 90 days after I received the email from Sydney, NS.) and I haven't heard anything back yet!! Quite frustrating.
Currently my application status is: In Process... And its been like that since summer/fall of 2010!!!

i got almost the same time line as you

applied in April 2010

aor in july 2010

sent full document in november 2010

received second Aor in may 2011

status on ecas change to decision made on june 10 2011

ordered caips on got them on December 2 2011

no sign of rejection on caips

BFD is on November 12 2012

so I do not know what to think. Is my application rejected or do i have to still wait for process of my file

This is not a rejection , it is just a bug/ error.. I had same kind a problem but whn i emailed them they said my application is still in process and that was jus a bug on e cas status ... ur application is still in process
and i have a update on my file.. it says we reviewed ur application and started processing on 13th jan 2012 .... seems like i will receive somethng soon ..

My timelines are as follows:

Applied in NS : June 7 2010
1st AOR : Nov 2010
File transferred to Buffalo : Nov 2010
Docs Sent : Feb 2011
Status : RBVO since then
Medical Request : God knows..
PPR : God Knows.

No idea how much time his will take..Its already meen almost 18 months since i applied and no update yet..

What do you guys suggest..? Should i order CAIPS..?

Pls let me know if this makes sense. I just dont know what is happening to my application. I am in Canada since 2008 and have a PhD and applied for PR in Feb 2010 and in Nov 2011 received an email saying that my appln is sent to Seattle to expedite the process and asked not to contact for 90 days. I just dont understand how this works. Pls review below and let me know.

Yeah dude I think it worth asking for caips notes... it wil just cost you 5 bugs , but atleast u will know wats happening to your application...

 @  hellodear yeah man it definately makes sense.,. as per my research .. u shall receive something soon .. they transfered bunch of files to other Visa offices in the recent past.. and they are receiving medicals now.. so keeep your fringers crosses you will receive somethng soon .. good luck .. keep us updated )))

My attorney mentioned not to contact the VO till Feb 2012.Once the time period till 2012 is complete,he will followup with them on the status of my application...

However based on the current queue,it looks like we might only get our Medical requests by end of year 2012..Thats what i can predict..

Does anyone in this forum see their application status changed recently from RBVO to "In Process"..If so,please do share your timelines so that we all know when we can expect our file to move..

Recently, I had an update on my eCAS status that my file is been reviewed as on 28 December 2011.

I got Medical request on 16 January 2012.

I hope all the files will start to move slowly and you guys should expect medical requests within next 2-3 months.

Hi guys,

My online status remains unchanged ("In Process").  But I just got a letter from the Buffalo office today stating: "In order to expedite the processing of your application, your file has been sent to The Canadian Consulate General in Seattle".

I guess no one hasn't looked at it yet but at least I know they didn't lose my application...
