Well statistics does not necessarily portray always the realistic picture!! I do lot of work with statistics but sometime very significant figure reflects non-sense biological plausibility.... It is not very hard to say (without statistical figure!!)majority of the applicant waiting in backlogs have major impact in their life and thats the way it made difference for most what I say (on contrary what you said doesn't make difference for all!!)... Its pretty clear from even the official figure posted in the CIC on average waiting time... for the fast track applicant supposed to be maximum 12-14 months... How many of the applicant are getting their visa within 12 months? Very few.... and most of the other been waiting even for 20-24 months (excluding pre feb 2008 applicants.... their condition is more miserable and plenty belong to them as well)... so this is not for promoting argument but as fact from the reality (not guess work at least!!) whether or not you have reason to agree....

I agree with Fariza.. Statistics should be used just as a drunk guy uses a lamp post, for support and not for illumination...

there r many things which r on hold coz of this PR.
sunny u  will not feel frustrated by looking on our timelines. my date of application is 24-12-2004 in federal skilled worker category.may not get visa for another two years. visa office is new delhi.when applied, the first letter of chc said it will take 33 months to clear my case.cic policies have ruined the life of many applicants.

Sans

You dont have to pull out of the subject because you had a different opinion than fariza or me... you have every right to have your own opinion on any subject... we can still have a good discussion, share some different point of views and still keep the discussion healthy and mutually beneficial..

i did not mean any disrespect to you when i differed from your stated views

Yes possibly you can't dear as by the time you applied I already waited a year..... many waited even 7 yrs..... and I really don't expect you to experience the similar pain of long waiting like many as it does extracts out even the spontaneous will to response on any striking comments!! Anyways  I support sapna that we can have different opinion still we can make it reasonably healthy... we are all here to share and exchange on common interest and issues.... so lets keep it going... All the very best for your application and processing friend
