mom2carl,
Congrats, it means you passed the 67 mark assessment stage, and soon you will receive the medicals. Manila is the fastest of all the local visa offices when it comes to the processing of applicants under the new rules. London CHC (where I submitted my application) used to be faster than Manila but now it's the reverse. Patience....patience....

Hey! All,
Anybody from New Delhi Office who sent their application in June & ECAS status changed from Application Received to In Process??? Kindly share your time frames 2.
I sent my full documentation on 18th June
They received it on 23rd June
Ecas status changed from Elligiblity Review Complete on 14th July to Received by Visa Office.
& still shows the same.
I would appreciate everybodys reply.
Thanks & All the Best.

I do not think they are updating the e case regularly, and from my experience, they are not going in order when it comes to updating it. I am done with my medical almost three months now and they changed it from "we started processing your application on xxx "- to "we received your application on xxxx!!" instead of " medical received"!!

hey! All,
The CIC sent me a receipt today. It is the processing fee of my Spouse application which i sent with full documents. So, do u think they have started processing my application? The status on Ecas still shows Received by Visa Office.
The format is as follows: -
Dear Applicant,
Piease find enclosed your immigration processing/right of permanent residence fee receipt.
Please quote as mentioned above File No. in all your future correspondence.
Thanks

swaps 82,
Did you send your RPRF together with your full application? Or you have received RPRF request after you have submitted your full application? To my understanding, CIC will ask for RPRF after you pass the eligibility review stage, in the local visa office where you submitted your full application. And in many cases RPRF were asked together with the medicals, and in the old cases RPRF were asked after passing the medical tests. I am referring to London CHC applicants. There is a possibility that it may differ depending on which visa office your country belongs to.

Hi! Aspire,
Well here in New Delhi they asked me only to send full set of documents & not RPRF fee. I applied in Feb'09 & got married in March'09 hence my spouse's application was sent along with the full set of documents. Now they sent me the receipt of enchasing $550 processing fee for my spouse. But like i said the status is still the same Received by Visa Office.
Just hoping whatever they do we get a positive reply.
Thanx & All the best 2u.
Regards
