4 months na pala kayo jan.. are you working na ba? maghipit ba talaga sa immigration na kelangan may dala kami 11k each? anyway thanks your offer to help the people here... hi, regarding the settlement funds, we have the exact money when we pass the immigration, cuz we didnt like hassle,its so funny nga since sakto lang talaga yung amount, my daughter wants to buy something in japan airport, di namin mabawasan.when we get to vancouver immigration,we were asked questions,and the officer how much many do we have then he stnad up adn take a look, di naman nya binilang, but the amount is written dun sa declaration paper if its more than 10k$...my husband and I have work na.after a month, my husband got a job in shell station as cashier, mahirap kumuha ng work during winter, so this is the best season to come here, madaming opening.its frustrating at first, kase feeling mo walang pumapansin sa resume mo, but the thing is as new immigrant umpisa tayo talaga sa mababa.just take any job u can get until u get what u really wanted.like for me, i am a nurse ,but then its not easy to become a nurse here, nobody told me what i need to get a job quickly,they will not hire u in tim hortons or as cashier anyhwere if u put a lot of experience in nursing field..lol anyway, i figured out, what i need to do and the requirements so i can work as health care aid, which my present work.If someone who is a nurse back home.dont hesitate to ask me questions and steps to do to get a job here.. |

its not 11k each nga pala, meron yang computation how much, like for us we are 4 so our settlement fund was 20,500$...i know 10,000 yung principal, then 5,000 yung spouse, then yung 5,0000 na isa, para dun sa dalawang anak namin.Pdos will advice you to have the exact money which we followed but i have heard nga me nakakalusot naman din..it's all up to us kung if u will take the risk, kung me mahiraman ka why not, ibabalik mo rin naman...goodluck po |

hey bigboy, a big thanks to you.. yep, i am not planning to borrow money para mabuo lang yon.. Thnx bro for confirming... It is nice to see familiar screennames here like yours and rubyalabar.... hi ruby!!! makes me smile I made a last minute change to my flight, instead of june 20, I am flying ahead on May 13, instead via PAL.. rate is $895 inclusive of all tax.. rate is still not bad.. as of the now, the rest of us will still take June 20 flight via Cathay/west jet $728, now $748 because of the increase of fuel charge...
