PAL kasi is direct flight kaya mahal and tama nga peak season ang July... Sobra laki ng difference ng airfare pala pag peak season... Nakapagdecide na pala kayo when aalis Summer na dito ang July kaya ok yung dating nyo, may time pa magrest at pasyal mga kids.

Naka pag pabook naman po kami $728 adult po this June 20 (cathay/west jet). I think it is really good deal na, to think it is summer and peak season sa Canada.. Yung Pal pa quote po sa akin $826 same date..

Hi! for those who had experienced landing in Canada as first time immigrants, I just have a question for you.  We recently attended PDOS and we were informed that the Immigration officer will look for 11KCADollars for each of us.  Like in my case My Proof of fund (cash) is definetly way below that. But obviously we got approved and have received our visas.  Will the immigration officer really look for the money that I never had? And are we supposed to make miracle and have 11k cash for each one of us?

Hope someone can enlighten me on this.. salamat po!

PDOS for us bounded to Canada is from 9:30 am to 12Noon...They encourage you to be 1 hr early but in our case we arrived 9:15am and there are even people who arived a little later than that.. you only need few mins to submit form and pay it.  P400/person.. may parking naman sa labas, parang konti lang nga na ka park, to think maliit lang parking nila ha... he he...

Basic info ung bigay nila sa seminar. like ilang tao na ang sa abroad, statictics, and justification kung bakit kelangan mag bayad ng P400 para sa ahenysa ng gobyerno na ito.. he he...

Isipin mo, pati infant and 2 year old magbayad din ng P400, di nalang P100 for registration, malay ba nila sa statistics and other info nila.

Pero it will remind you or set the basic guidelines naman, like ano ang size at weight ng bagahe na dadalin mo, na i remind ka not to write or sign the COPR, at wag din punitin ung nasa gilid non na papel.

What surprises me however, sinabi na hahanapan daw ng 11K can dollars each family member.. Naisip ko na approve nga kami na wala yon, tapos papagawin pa ko ng PDOS ng milagro na biglang nag ganun pera, ora mismo.  which i find it not logical and realistic.  like my sister, when she left b4, she spent most of her money on some emergencies na konti nalang din nadala nya. she was simply asked how much she has brought and that was about it.. kaya nga may MAS (affidavit of support) hindi ba? he he.. saka meron dun sabi nung pdos guy michael ang name, $80 daw ang pagkuha drivers license e meron dun kasabay kami na permanent resident na din, kakukuha lang sa area nya ng drivers license $40 lang daw.. ayaw patalo nung speaker, ha ha.. parang sya ung nasa Canada! wa ha ha...

so expect basic infos na baka alam nyo narin base sa kwento ng kamag anakan natin dun o kaibigan, like magkano min wage, na kuha ka na ng SIN saka bukas bank account pag dating mo dun.. then ung address na ibibigay mo e yung adress kung saan ipapadala ung PR card mo after 30days.. halos iyon ng ung essense..he he

tapos magdala daw valid id ung me signature pa.. e di naman hinanap nag pa renew pako driver's license ko.. he he.. sa guard lang hingi kahit anong id for visitor's pass.. ha ha
