My father is Mechanical engineer and he's doing related job. Now what to write in the form (page 3 of 8, 3 section) Occupation section? Can I write Mechanical Engineer or should I write according to NOC? I found NOC 2132-A for Mechanical engineer.

And what can I write in intended occupation section? Obviously my father wants to do his related field job there means Mechanical engineering.

NOC 2132 is not included in the 29 NOCs that are currently eligible for Federal Skilled Worker Category application. Check the link below for eligibility criteria:

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/apply-who-instructions.asp

However, if you find a NOC that is relevant to your father's experience, proceed as follows:

1. Write his current job title in the 'Occupation' field. His experience certificate shall be made according to the same job title by his current employer.

2. Write a job title matching to NOC description/titles in the 'Intended Occupation' field.

Best of luck!
