From Buffalo Office to Los Angeles

Any of you guys is in this situation? Does it mean that my file finally got processed after waiting since September 2009 till now??? Or it means another period of time waiting and waiting and waiting?

They sent me an email this morning, exactly like this:

The Canadian Consulate General in Los Angeles

will complete the analysis of your application and determine if a personal interview with a visa officer is required. Your file number remains the same.
The Canadian Consulate General in Buffalo no longer has your file

. Therefore we cannot acknowledge or respond to future correspondence from you. Please do not submit any further documents or correspondence to this office. If IELTS or TEF test results are sent to us, they will be forwarded to the Canadian Consulate General in Los Angeles.
In the event of a change in your address, marital status or family composition, inform the office noted above immediately . Do not use the CIC e-Cas on-line change of address system. Your new address will not be downloaded to your file in Los Angeles.

Do not request the status of your file within ninety (90) days of the date of this letter.

All future correspondence you receive will be from the office noted above.

What if I have to update my documents within this period? Should I just send directly the documents (e.g. arranged employment documents) to the Los Angeles Office?

Yes, your file is basically now being handled by the LA office. Any updates go straight to LA.

I'm in the same boat - my file was transferred to LA two weeks ago.

File transfer takes Minimum 6months to process.

How do i notify LA office of my change of  adress .

Also do we notify Alberta of this new address. if yes then how ?

Today I received an email saying they have transferred my file from Buffalo to Los Angeles office.  Does anyone know how long Los Angeles office takes... my application is FSW3... finally after 1.5 yrs it is moved...!!!

My ecas is showing update of file transfer but it also mentioned that file is pending for review.

why do you think they transfered to LA?
LA office call any interview; after medical already done in buffalo??

I read somewhere in some months ago that LA office do not have enough space for interview (for PR immigration). so LA is not invite for interview , by default interview is waived from LA visa office!!
