Hi! Just want to ask question in behalf of a friend. She will be applying PR in a month under the live in caregiver progrAm, and while gathering her documents, she was just confused if it will affect her application. Her supposed to be employer died before arriving in canada, still her agency let her come in canada and just work with the deceased's wife. 2 years after as she goes through her papers and realizing that she's been working illegAlly considering that her contract n work permit is named with someone thAt is already deceased, She's just asking what to do with her situation. Any reply is much appreciated. Thanks!

I think that is definitely a problem and she should talk to a lawyer about that.  She didn't have the intention of working illegally so maybe it will be ok but still, she has been working for an employer for 2 years that isn't named in her work permit.  That's how immigration might see it, regardless of her good intentions.
