Hi everyone,
it'll still be a couple of months until I will receive my PR. I'm currently living with my spouse in Montreal, on a visitor's visa. Thus, I'm not allowed to work and would now like to use the waiting period to learn some French. On the MICC's language courses website the eligibility criteria for full time courses say "holder of a temporary stay permit issued with a view to the eventual granting of permanent residence," for the part time courses it says " you are authorized to apply for permanent residence on-site in Canada" and "you hold a temporary stay permit issued with a view to the eventual granting of permanent residence (code 17, 27, 37, 86 to 95 on the permit)". Does anybody know if I would be included in any of these cases? Currently I only have AOR but should get sponsor approval soon, I hope.
Thanks,
 montrealsnow.
