How long its been since they received the passport.
I guess it should not take more than 4 weeks. But for some people, it took around 6 weeks.

FINALLY !!!!!!!!

I just checked ECAS and the status has changed to " Decision Made ".   My husband received his passport request letter about 10 days ago.

Our time line is as follows :

June 23 - sponsorship approved
July 20 -  received in New Delhi and changed to " In process"
Sept.17 - PPR received by my husband
Sept.28-  Status changed to " Decision Made" in ECAS and it states that medicals were received.

Could his passport with a visa stamp for Canada be on its way Huh??

Roll Eyes))))))

Thanks guys for all your help and wish you all goodluck !

Hi pshekhu
It can take sometimes 6 weeks too, I am sure you will receive it soon. I sure pray it won't take you as long as it is taking for us.
New Delhi started processing my husband's file on July 7 and we rec'd passport request on aug 10th...Its been over 2 months now since my husband mailed the passport and even this week there is no change in ecas. We e-mailed Delhi CHC and they replied on Sept 28 and said it is waiting for final review. only God know how long there final review takes.
We are patiently waiting as there is nothing we can do but wait.
Good luck to you and keep us posted Smiley

They sent the passport request letter (with the photos) by registered post. We sent the passport by Speed post and they sent back the passport with visa again by registered post.
