Good day to you all. I studied HND Accounting as my first degree in my home country and MSc Finance & Accounting in the United Kingdom.Presently, I'm on a two-year Post Study Work Visa which will expire in 2011. Please, I'm in a state of dilema as per which course to apply for so as not to jeopardise my visa appication chance(s).I have found two courses of my choice:

1.A one-and-a-half year (3 Semester)Post-graduate diploma(PGD) course in Retail management and the course fee is CA$17,000. Sept 2010 start date. 1st Semester tuition is CA$5000.

2.A one-and-a-half year (6 Semester) Diploma course in Business Management and the course fee is CA$10,000(with an option of 36 weeks paid job inclusive as part of the programme). July and October, 2010 start date.

Presently, I'm self-employed in England and I hope to have at least CA$10,000-12000 in my account by May(when I intend to make my application).

The question is, as I don't have enough fund, can I use my Uncle as my Sponsor in addition to my own fund and if I chose to do the second course, will the Entry Officer ask why I chose to do a Diploma course when I already have an MSc(even though they are two different courses?

Thank you

You can self sponsor or have some one else support you for your further education. Usually, close relative can be sponsor.
Just on the side note, you can get HSMP/Tier-1 in UK if you qualify. So you made a decision to move to Canada for further education? You might be able to qualify under PR as well... www.cic.gc.ca will offer further insight. Good luck!

 @  Commonwealth,

Thanks a lot. I really appreciate your advice. You are right, I'm already working towards UK Tier 1 (formally HSMP) in case my Canadian student permit is refused(God forbid).

Thanks... Smiley
