Thank you for your reply. You explain it well. Some other members also give similar comment.

I rely on every information given in the Cohen's blog, as others do. I thought CIC may consider the NOCs listed with each of the 38.

Think my situation. I perform some duties of 0632 (under 38), which I did not mention in the application. I mentioned the duties of 0611 (not under 38). If details of my duties were attached with my application, I might be considered by NS office now under 0632.

What should I do now ?

1) when did they actually posted and announced the 38 category list, because as far as i know It was not till august last in cic web site. If i am right, then we do stand a chance guys to getting in consideration, but when,.... either god knows or NS officers.
2) I have found some thing interesting for those who applied under 2281, It is also stated as "Internet System Administrator ". if you look thoroughly you will find it. what you guys think..........................??

I think if there is nothing you could do, then you should wait it out. Don't withdraw your application.

If you perform duties under 0632, then maybe you should apply under 0632. Others could comment whether it is good for you to withdraw your current application and apply under 0632, wait till your old application is rejected and then apply under 0632 or send a letter to CIC that you qualify under 0632 too.

Was your job 0632 different from 0611?

It was Nov 2008 not Aug 2008.

1) have you heard of speculation and forward and futures contract. Forward and futures allows you to make a deal now to buy some commodities (say like gold or oil) in the future on a set date.  Only God (or NS officers lol) knows the future price.  However, even if the future prices goes up drastically, you have to buy it. If you can't buy it, then you have to declare bankruptcy. Similarly, at the time of application between Feb and Nov 2008, CIC said your applications will be processed under the future rule. No one knew the future rule but the rule was that your application will be processed under the future rule.  I read some senior member saying that people in this situation should withdraw their application but wait to be rejected. This is a good idea unless there is something else you could do with the CIC like re-applying. Also, you should pretend you are being rejected and look for other options.

2) What you guys think....??.....i have no idea what you are talking about, so cannot comment.

Hi,tell me what is the interesting for those who applied under 2281,coz, I have applied under this NOC,in july 2008,yet waiting fora reply from NS,also have written a mail to CHC,that my some of main duties matched with main NOC 0213,so,change my NOC to 0213,almost more then a month have past but no reply.

i send e-mail to CHC islamabd,and sw-centralized-intake-office @ cic.gc.ca,also today i send same as a fax to NS,lets c what happend.

when i applied that was just a two page,application form,i only mention the N.O.C,and did not explain much in detail,just as managing and aminstrating the computer network..
