This is what the ECAS shows We received your application for permanent residence on July 17, 2008. We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 13, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review. We transferred your application to the London England office on March 17, 2009. The London England office may contact you I don't remember if my status has ever been "received by visa office".. I think I'm hoping for the impossible  If I reapply, and provide MORE evidence for being an accountant, will they reject my application again on the base that I already got rejection before? |

Yes it says "elligibility review complete". Obviously this is the end of my story.
I didn't know about the New ministerial instructions (My initial application was sent on June 2008). I included other clerical duties besides the accountant's.
If I re-apply including only accountant duties, will CIO/CIC reject my new application on the base that I've provided other duties in my previous application? Do they keep a track on it?Shall I wait or I can re-submit initial application immediately? Does someone have eperience re-applying?
Please advise! Thanks...

Yes they keep track of the applications. And if you suddenly turn into an accountant, it will probably be another refusal. PMM |

hi sys81 my case is i think same like you
I have applied as a bookkeeper which is now not in the list on 12th july 2008 through a consultant from Delhi ( India) . When i have applied at that time i was also performing 80% of job duties of Accountant which fall under the list of 38 but at that time my consulatant advice me to apply as a bookeeper as i was only B.com Pass from delhi university . He told me that you dont have any professional qualification like Chartered Accountant/ Certified General Accountant/ Certified management accontant etc so your case may be rejected as an accountant. At that time 38 list of occupation not came but the announcement was made on 28th feb 08 that new list of occupation will come soon & the same has happened on 27th nov 08 new list of 38 came & my occupation of bookeeper was not in the list & my status changed to cio office review complete & a letter sent to you on 29 th nov 09 but ihave not recd the same it is approx 22 days . Can you suggest me that what can be the result.
Now I approached to some of the best consultant of Delhi one of which is ***** . I told them my all story that what happened with me morever i told that I am also performing the job duties of an accountant from last 5 year . Also i told that I am only B.com Pass & dont have any qualification (Chartered Accountant/ Certified General Accountant/ Certified management accontant )etc.
Then they suggest me that we can upgrade your case by reapplying as an accountant from sept 08 to till date & hence you can show the one year experince as an accountant & it will work.

Thank you for the information, PMM. I've last updated my application information in June 2009 - when submitting a full set of docs to CIC. I have to I re-apply not earlier than June 2010 so I can claim having 1 year Accountant experience, is that right? Will then CIO/CIC award me only 15 points for professional experience (1 yr)? Or they will accept also the clerical/accountant experience from previous years - 21 points (4+ yrs)? Thank you so much for your help |

Yes you have to wait upto june2010 & then you have one year accountant experience . Then apply for accountant
CIO/ CIC will awrd you 21 points . They will add your experince of clerical also

what should i do in such circumstances it has been already late by 35 days & in the letter if they asked for my further documnet like ielts exam result, my certificate etc then i already lapse my 35 days becuase i have to submit the document within 120 days
So what i do join ielts classes or wait for the letter

Hi Malli,
Did you receive the letter from the consultant?
ANother friend of mine was in a similar situation as you and wrote to CIC (postal mail) asking them to send a copy of the letter as her consultant had not received the letter. She then received the letter from Nova Scotia in 10 days with a photocopy of the original letter as sent to her consultant. Unfortunately, it was rejection since she wasn't in the 38 list.
