Hi.
Situation 1: If your application is at your local CHC, then you can go to the cic website from where you can send a case-specific enquiry (which I am sure you know now). As you know, there is a separate link to each visa office in order to prepare a case-specific enquiry. You've already prepared your modified job description. Now you can prepare a letter explaining changes made to both the description and NOC. Submit all those simply by attaching them to your mail. But I think signing the documents, putting dates in them, and then having them scanned would be better.
Situation 2: But if your file is still at CIO, then your best option is to send them hardcopies of the above. Please make sure you write your file number in the Sender Address section on the envelope provided by your Courier Service company and highlight it with a bright marker, before handing it over to the Courier guy.
My case falls in situation 2. That's what I have done.

Hi,
I applied on Nov 4 Last year. Till date the online status is showing as Application received. Waiting for more than 10 months, meanwhile we have a newborn who is to be added to the application. Just waiting for their response.
I dont think they are going to provide any update on our cases b4 2010.
Regards, Bikram Cheema

Hi Sonea,
I think the best is to find out where your application currently is. CIO is hard to talk to. They hardly reply. Your local visa office is more likely to reply if you ask something.

I had applied under 2171, I am working as Consultant in Software Test Engineering..... Dont know how they are going to deal with the applications, most of my duties match with 0213:-
• Devise Quality Control testing strategies, procedures and test cases for products. • Develop and implement process level and module level tests based on product architecture • Coordinate with software developers to understand product implementation and code reviews • Review test case book and other project-specific quality documents • Participate in periodic project status meetings • Ensure adherence to processes related to quality control • Conduct evaluation of automated tools and report preparation • Educate/help peers from development team in filling various quality formats (e.g. Release Note) • Manage inter group co-ordination (development team, system admin etc. etc) • Manage complete product quality signoff leading to product release • Conduct independent casual analysis on the defects trend and numbers • Participate in pre-sales efforts requiring Test practice knowledge
Lets see the end result.....

Hello all
Pls Help me I would like to ask you one question regarding my application actually i filed my application on july 08esult(feb 08-nov08) & does not fall under 38 list so my case can be reject or may be accept . Like other applicants of this period i am also waiting .
My brother has moved to Australia as PR & now he got job there & his wife also working there now he is telling me to apply for Austrlia PR I have told him that i am waiting for my result that may be it positive or can be denied.
Can any senior member suggest me what i do keep wait for Canada result or apply for Australia actually I have applied as bookkeeper for canada which is not under 38 list. one think more that the 38 list issued on nov 08 one year back. Now are they going to issue a new list or not because there is only one & half month left for the date of last issue of 38 list.
I would like to ask you one think more that my occupation of Bookkeeper is in demand in Canada or not because if my occupation will not in demand than my occupation will again not be in the new 38 list which can be publish this year.
So please suggest what i would do wait for canada pr result or apply for Australia PR b

Hi,
Bookkeeping is related to NOC code 1111, that is the Accountants/Book Keeper is the same thing. Per me if your duties match with 1111 then you can have chance to get in.
Best of Luck
Regards, Bikram Cheema

I heard of a revised list too. I mean it is theorecital that in the month of November every year a new list will come up. That's yet to be seen since last November was the month that the new rules just came up. So, we will have to see if it is indeed true that every November will bring a new list.
