Hi
I'm sure this has been asked before and I've read the guide but I must be missing something? Is the value of goods supposed to be market value or what they originally cost? I'm a bit confused, any help is appreciated. Thanks.

We just estimated all our used items based on what we'd sell them for and that worked out fine. My husband is friends with a customs agent who said what they are really concerned about are the big market items - things that might be worth more than 10k.
