FORM 0008 QUESTION 10

hi again!!

my husband is filling out this 0008 form, he lives in italy as his country of residence, so he put his entry date into italy, but the other date, what do we put? if we put for example:

aug 30, 2008 to dec 19, 2011

isnt this technically incorrect and give them the impression that he left on dec 19 2011? because hes not leaving the country and will be there long after dec 19th so what should we put in that section?  if they receive our application in lets say january, wouldnt they think he left the country on this date?
