Forgot to attach Visa Office Specific Checklist !!!

Please Help by advising

I have submitted my application by courier to the CIO last thursday (sent 22-9-2010 , It didn't arrive to the CIO yet) and I have forgotten to attach the additional checklist in the Visa Office specific instructions document.

Shall I wait ? or Shall I send it in a separate letter ?

I don't want to send it by courier again as it is very expensive.

It was an important document as specified in the guide. It shows how well you presented your file. By missing that you have put a wrong impression. I don't think CIO will accept any document once they received your full packet.

A checklist does not contain any information specific to the applicant, so the the case officer will not refuse you because of not submitting it.

I completely agree, Doc Checklist can make V.O.s work a bit easy, nevertheless, its not that important a document, lack of which gets into rejections, so relax.

Yes, I forgot to send this visa office check list too. This just shows how this instrtuction are written, on the way so only native speakers can decrypt what is hidden inside.

Case 1:

CIO checklist says that we need to send their checklist and specific documents from Visa office checklist, but on the Visa office checklist it is written that we need to send their check list also. I missed that sentence, so I hope they will not judge me as incompetent candidate. After all, we are all humans and we make mistakes, specially this kind of little mistakes.


Case 2:

On CIO instructions is written that we need to sign ONE picture and writte our name and eye colour and our height, but on the 0008 Generic Form it is clearly said that we need to write our names on all pictures and also our date of birth and there is not mentioned anything about eye colour or our height.


Case 3:

In Vienna Visa office specific instruction is clearly said that we need to send our documents to Vienna, and CIO  instructions says that we need to send everything to Sydney.

Help me God, this is like a lottery. Immigration lawyers are worth every penny, but I dont have enough money, so I have to fight on my own.

just wait, if any problem they will return whole package asking you to provide checklist, if its ok they will accept,

but no need to worry anyway

I too forgot to include the VO specific checklist which I sent to New Delhi VO and they accepted my application. So dont worry...

My CC has been charged on 1/10/2010 (Application as FSW recieved by GLENN MILLER on 28/9/2010 and another envelope containing the VO specific checklist has been recieved by PAUL on 29/9) ........ Can you imagine how fast they are

I hope this is good news .... and I think I should wait ....

Any thing to advise ?
