Hi

I mailed my visitor visa application on 5/16. It is 6/8 now and I don't know the status. The canadian immigration website expects a client id # for showing the application status. Visitors will not have the client id at all. I forgot to pay for return postage and I'm dreading as time keeps passing. I have to visit Canada on the 26th. Has anyone faced similar situation. Does it really take 45 days sometimes to process visa? Is it better that I visit the embassy in person? I applied in Washington DC. Please help..
