Hello... just wanna know how long does it take to process if a live-in caregiver change employer? this is in quebec

thank you. supposing i have worked with my previous employer 5 months, would this still be counted or add up to the 2 years required for the live-in caregiver program to be able to apply for permanent residency?

Yes, it doesn't say you have to stay with the same employer the whole time.

i am a live in caregiver. i have worked for 5months now with my current employer who sponsored me to come here. at first i was happy working with them until recently. i gave my 2 weeks notice but they said i signed a 1 month notice in our contract with or without cause. i feel i cant finish that 1 month. and when i do quit, can they send me back to my country? or have me deported since they are my sponsor?

No,You are in canada,Look for a new employer,But follow your contract or face the penalties stated there.But you cannot be deported for changing employer.

Yes tell us,Maybe If they violated Quebec law,You can go to Quebec Employment Standards.
