hellllo Alll:

i am new to this forum and curretly exploring it. i am currently studying in a high ranking business school in UK and i will complete my undergrad in May 2008. also i have 1 year relevant work exp in finance at Intel Corp.

my question is

can i apply in canada with a uk undergrad degree? do employers in canada recruit international students?
i am graduating in May 2008 so what is the best time to apply in canada? currently i am in UK so what will be the interview process fro people abroad?

They do, but you'll need an accounting designation first.

Almost every accounting job I've seen in Canada (at least the ones where they recruit from overseas), they require you to be certified as one of the following:

CA - chartered accountant
CPA - chartered public accountant
CMA - chartered management accountant

cant i apply in canada for entry level jobs now? i will do my ca or cpa qualifications after i start work in canada.... is that possible?

Yes, you can apply.  I'm just saying that most employers who hire from overseas will not consider an accounting applicant who doesn't have an accounting designation yet.  There are usually enough local candidates at the entry level.

do you know what is the best time to apply for jobs there if i am finishing my studies in May 2008... are there any specific websites that hires only international applicants. i mean websites apart from monster,, workopolis etc..

I don't know of any website that cater to international applicants other than Monster, workopolis, etc.

There's not really a best time to apply for jobs, but there is a worst time - November and December, because those are big holiday months.
