foreign worker wants to bring his wife to quebec

Below are the circumstances:
1- I am in Quebec as foreign worker. eligible to apply for PR in few months. I hold a pakistani passport.
2- wife(to be) is in Pakistan, she is a doctor.

Here is my question:
What is the best way to bring her here within 8-12 months?

What I also want to know is:

1- My work permit is valid until 2014. My visa expires now. When i apply for visa extension, should i mention my wife in my visa application? will this inclusion make it easier for her to get a spouse based TRV after few months?

2- If she comes on a visit visa on her own, without having a spouse's invitation and mentioning that she is married to me. Then if we register ourselves as new couple here (get married here). Will she be able to stay with me(getting an open WP based on mine) or will she have to go back?
