Hi,

For those who filed or who is about to file their application this February, Isn't that in Form 5690 which is the documents checklist, Certificate of Employment and Educational Credentials are no longer listed right? When I check the form is has been last updated 01/2012. Am i right.

Yes you are right. In the latest checklist those items are no longer required. Good for us applicants. Less paperwork and less weight on the application envelope so maybe cheaper courier fees =)

It's a policy that applications are assessed based on the regulations in effect at the time the application was received. So it is always better to use the latest checklist. You can never go wrong with that.

Hi carl,
Just need to verify how may barcodes were you  able to produce upon validating the form IMM 008 kasi kmi ng husband ko parang walo yata un or 10. I thought kasi we will generate only 1 barcode. Tama ba na madami  ung barcode namin..In our application we're total of four. When do you intend to file your application nga pala sa CIO, kmi next week na sana, NBI n lng wait namin eh..

ma'am ghelai,

filed my application Jan 2012 - 10 barcodes in all were generated in the IMM008 - 8 in the first page and then 2 in the 2nd page just on the top and before the Consent and Declaration of Applicant section...
