For Those Inquiring About the 15 Day Online Marriage Certificate - Ontario

I called Service Ontario (by the way, if you call them and when you get the automated message, they don't tell you, but if you say Customer Service you will be directed to an agent!) I asked them about the online requesting of a Marriage Certificate (which takes 15 days to recieve compared to 6-8 weeks).

The woman confirmed that upon getting married in Ontario, it takes 8-10 weeks for your marriage license to be registered. After 8 weeks, you can follow up with them and find out the status of your registration. She also recommended that I can talk to the Officiant and see if they can mail it out immediately, and perhaps even higher priority postage. Then you can apply online at serviceontario.ca for your Marriage Certificate and recieve it in 15 days, regardless of the reason.
