Hi,

I recd the request for additional docs namely Landing fees and passport photos on aug'11,09.I submitted them in the last week of aug'09.

My ecas status as under:
Permanent Residence
We received your application for permanent residence on March 16, 2009.
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on March 28, 2009. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
Your application and supporting documents were received by the London England office. They are pending review.
We transferred your application to the London England office on April 1, 2009. The London England office may contact you.
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on August 11, 2009.

My question is:
1.Does this mean no more docs from my side.
2.Normally Medical request and landing fee request is made at the same time. But in my case i m still waiting for the medicals.Does anybody know about this.Any expereince, pls share.
3.How much time will it take for the medicals from now onwards.

Noc - 0111

Thanks

Hi Mohit,

I checked with the consultant,he says that nowadays under the new system people hv been recieving ,initially ,their landing fee request and the medicals subsequent to that in 2-4 months time.
Is this true and is it normal in my case ,as i m seeing in the forum, that people are receiving both the medicals and landing fee simultaneously.

Thanks

hi penpal,

in my case i have recieved medical request without rprf request.

but i  have send medical along with rprf  to the london office.

becoz my consultant told me you can pay rprf anytime you wnt but before issuance of visa.

i believe this is good news if they have requested rprf from you, it means they are processing your application.

medical and rprf is the last stage before issuing visa.

hope you will recieve soon.

gud luck

Hi Mohit,

I hv recd my medicals and the deadline for submission is the 18th of nov'09.They hv also asked for the PCC from Tanzania which i was unable to submit with my full docs as i did not receive it on time.I m following up on this.Hope to get it in time.Otherwise i do not know what will happen with my case.I am both happy and worried.
Do you hv any idea as to what will hapen if i am unable to submit the Tanzania PCC on time.

thanks

hi penpal,

i think pcc is very important if you have stayed any country more than 6 months.

the  best option for you to follow up your pcc with concerned Tanzanian authority.

and if you think you are not able to recieve pcc in time............prepare cover letter and borrow more time from cic London.(send them proof that you have applied for pcc (tanzania)
