Hi,

I am currently on H1 in the US, working here for more than 2yrs and falling under the 38 job categories.

I need to submit my I-94 as a proof for this application and I have the following concern.

*  The southern part of my native country do not have a surname so my dad's name was used along with my first name in the passport. The H1 visa was stamped with my full name under Given name and they left my first name blank as unknown (FNU).

When I boarded the flight to US, I put my first and last name under two different rows (like under first and last) as I usually do - But the Border security at the POE striked out on my I-94 and he put my full name under the last name leaving the first name blank.

Since there is a strike on I-94 and correction made by BSF, will this cause any problems in filing the application ??

Any advise will be greatly appreciated.

Probably not as long as you have a letter explaining what happened
