hi sis Leila23

Many thanks talaga! GOD is GOOD!  Smiley

Vinzoy25, Bale follow-up question kse yung "status" sa country of residence mo? Basta ang questions not applicable to you, you can put N/A rather than leave it blank. Then you mention also about employment nasa page 3 yun ng applications forms. Just be honest kse ako din 1994 pa yung last job ko eh.Kung may questions ka pa sa pag fill-up ng forms feel free to ask.

Naku sana nga dumating na VISA namin nina  JECKAY and LEGAN.

hello po ulit... ask ko lang po if need na ung mga bank accounts and properties, nakapangalan sa min both mag-asawa? or ung mga remittance slips would suffice? itong house po kc is under hubby's name, pero sa mga docs, both kami ang signatories... sa sasakyan, under my name lang kc wala sya dito. ung sa bank account naman, sa kin lang din. would it be a big factor?

Hi oxie, sa totoo lang ako walang sinubmit na Bank accounts, proof of remittances or any  proof of assets sa application namin ng anak ko.. But there's nothing wrong in submitting them kse I'm sure makakatulong yan. Late ko na kse nakita ang forum na to pero kung nakita ko prior to submission of our application malamang naisama ko din ang proof of remittances/assets and joint accounts namin.

Good luck to all of us.

Ok, salamat! Smiley Gets ko yung 1 and 2. We are asking for proof from his present employer that an LMO was filed.

At the same time naman nag apply na din si New Employer. So if we do have proof from the present employer that they filed for LMO, we can file an online work permit extension. If there is no proof... we have to stop working by Nov 2 and wait for the LMO and WP from the new employer.

@   ynoweh and lovely20. Cheesy thanks so much mga sis!

Yes sis tama.  If the old employer can provide you proof na nag-apply na nga sya ng LMO you can apply for WP online pero if walang proof you have to stop working once your WP expires.

thanks sa guidance nyo nila solit and ynoweh.

Ngayon makakahinga na kami. magfifile na kami ng work permit extension this week or next week. thank you ulet sa mga tulong! Smiley

Hello!!! Welcome to the forum...I believe the occupation of your hubby falls under NOC C and D.  Normally, eligible for open work permits are spouses and children of skilled workers under NOC A, O and B.  But, I've read two months ago about the egibility for open work permit of spouses and children of lower skilled occupations for the province of BRITISH COLUMBIA only, and glad that your hubby qualifies.  I suggest that you read the CIC website for the backgrounder of this program.  I think the same process and procedures apply (same as for NOC A, B, O).  Just read the entire thread and you'll see everything you need.  But for further clarifications, feel free to post and there are a lot of members who are in Canada now who have gone through the process, willing to help you out....Good luck!!!!  Wink See news below....

British Columbia Pilot Project for Open Work Permits for Spouses and Common-Law Partners of Temporary Foreign Workers in Lower Skilled Occupations and Working-Age Dependent Children of Temporary Foreign Workers of All Skill Levels

This new pilot project allows spouses, common-law partners and working-age dependent children of most temporary foreign workers (TFWs), including TFWs working in lower skilled occupations (NOC C &D) to receive open work permits that would allow them to work for any employer in British Columbia.

This project will run until February 15, 2013.

For more information on the project and who is eligible, please review the background information on Citizenship and Immigration Canada's Website.
