Hi Jewelle! Kelan ba nag apply ng renewal ng WP hubby mo? Sa tingin mo malapit na marelease based sa mga timelines na nabanggit dito sa forum? Kami kasi nung nagsubmit ng application last June e wala pa yung new work permit ng hubby ko, maexpire WP nya ng June 23, pero Feb nagapply na sya ng extension. Naglagay lang ako ng note sa copy ng WP nya na nag apply na sya ng renewal ng Feb. Tamang-tama nung nareceive namin AOR and MR from CEM ng July, dumating na din bagong WP ng hubby ko kaya isinama ko na sa pinadala kong additional docs. Kaya siguro kung parating na din naman yung WP pwede ka na din mag apply, pero mas ok kung hintayin mo para di ka kakaba-kaba tulad ko noon, hehe. Timing lang talaga na dumating sya habang pinaprocess ang application namin.  |

hi joychel . yung wp ni hubby kse will expire this nov.3 pero ung aplication nya for extension n aaply lng nitong sept so sguro mga dec or january p yun lalabas tumawag nmn me s embasy the agent says that ok lng nmn n mg pass kmi mg pdala n lng dw me ng letter explaning n on process n yung renewal at yung mga proof n ngaaply nya sya ng extension sbi kse din ung agent n depende n lng dw yun sa visa officer kung m issue kmi ng visa,, ang wori nmn nmin kse bka by the tym n andito n yung new work permit n hubby eh lapse n nmn para mkpgaply so nalilito tlaga ako puede kya na sbihin k n lng n pgdating ng wp ni hubby send ko s embasy as additional document pls help di ko tlaga alam gagawin ko ngyun ... thanks po and godbless !!!!!!

hi po s lahat my isa p pla po me question hw many days po kya yung processing tym ng issuance of new work permit same employer po sya eh nbasa ko po kse mas mbillis pg new employer tama po ba para mlaman ko wen me mg prepare ng mga documents nmin thanks a lot!!! hello! for info din, see link below as to the processing times of work permit (same employer and new employer), paper or online application which is being updated on a weekly basis, commonly Thursday or Friday sa Pinas. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/times/temp.aspAlso, yun existing work permit ng hubby ko na non-skilled (on-process po un new work permit nya sa skilled, mga december pa lalabas), naglapse un nun feb 20, 2011, pero mga feb4 inapply na for extension(paper application). natanggap nya ng july 2 pero ang date ng approval ay june 20, 2011. tapos nakalagay sa permit nya na validity is until june 19, 2012. So bale yun issuance date ng CPC-Vegreville ang nagiging basis ng 1 year validity hindi yun date ng expiration. Kaya pag labas ng work permit ng hubby mo, wala po yun 1 month na lapse kaya you have ample time to apply for open work permit...  It's up to you to decide whether you apply for open work permit now while work permit extension of your spouse is in progress or wait for its release.... The pieces of advice from forum members help....Good luck... |

Hi Leila! Yung expiration ng WP nya e binase dun sa expiration ng passport nya, which is Jan 2013, baka kasi nominated na hubby ko. Yung work permit ko din and study permit ng mga kids with same expiration. Ang alam ko requirements lang yung copy ng valid passport, LMO (husband ko ginamit yung letter of nomination instead of LMO), and job offer to renew and dapat mag apply na before maexpire kasi matagal ang processing pag same employer. Tingnan mo dun sa link na binigay ni ynoweh processing times ng work permit. |

Hi Jewelle! Sabi ni Ynoweh may ample time pa naman para makapag apply ka SOWP kasi within 2 weeks ng approval marereceive na ng hubby mo WP nya and yung expiration is based on the date of approval. Ang CEM kasi ibase nila yung expiration ng SOWP mo sa expiration ng WP ni hubby mo, kaya kelangan talaga valid WP nya. Pwede din siguro yung sinasabi ng agent na magsama ka na lang ng letter na nagsasabi na he already sent an application for extension of WP, baka hintayin lang nila na dumating WP ni hubby mo before making a decision. Pray for it din muna and ask for wisdom kung apply ka na or hindi pa. |

Thanks Joychel, actually matagl pa naman expiration work permit hubby ko Jan 2013 pa rin, kaya lang as early as now mabuti na yung alam ang gagawin di ba? By that time siguro may nomination certificate na din sya so no need na LMO. |
