naku, oo nga pala... pag nagpadala from canada to pinas, kahit rush is 3-5days ata... i didn't submit any payslips ni hubby din kasi new employer yung WP nya and kakastart nya lang nun nagpass ako ng application.. ang binigay ko is certificate of employment (scanned -- different from employment contract) na galing mismo sa employer nya indicating his position, when to start, and hourly rate nya...

yung remittances ko naman, start lang nung 2009, start lang nung gumamit kame IREMIT (debit card)... ung sa western union receipts, natapon ko na ata lahat... i didn't think it will be very important pa kasi...haay...
and ung joint account namin sa bpi, wala din naman nk-indicate na opening date... amount lang nung savings account namin nilagay..

chel12, since when pa hubby mo sa Canada? Coz mine since 2007 pa sya dun but it was only since 2009 nang regular na sya nagpapadala nang remittances (after our wedding). I was able to keep the western union receipts, buti na lang. Pero if they will ask me where the 2007 and 2008 receipts, I don't have anything to show them dahil wala naman talaga. Okay na siguro yun 2009 onwards, diba?

Kenj, I think pwede na scanned copies lang pay stubs coz I remember may nag-ask na dito about additional docs and I think it was kristiner and ailooney who said pwede na ang scanned copies. Not sure if it was melay who asked, nalilito na din ako, e.

Ako din kasi, puro scanned copies lang ang isusubmit ko next week na docs ni hubby. Yun mga sakin lang original.

yun nga eh, medyo frustrating kasi. eto kasi yung nakalagay dun sa letter requesting for additional documents (including the boldface and underscore on the word "original":

This refers to your application for a Temporary Work Permit in Canada. In order to continue processing your application, you need to submit the following original documents:
- Pay stubs, letter of employment or Notice of Assessment from your spouse in Canada; This must be received at this office by: 01/14/2012
- Evidence of remittances starting from spouse's arrival there up to the present; This must be received at this office by: 01/14/2012
- Photos depicting all stages of relationship, including wedding and honeymoon, if applicable. This must be received at this office by: 01/14/2012
- Evidence of joint financial holdings such as bank accounts, insurance policies, leases, mortgages; This must be received at this office by: 01/14/2012
- Any other documentation you would like to provide as evidence of bona fides of relationship. This must be received at this office by: 01/14/2012

some of these i have already submitted, like:
-Employment Contract ni wife which was sent to her via email lang din. pero it was a color-scanned document so pati yung pirma nung corporate recruitment manager eh blue ink pa rin.
- a dvd containing correspondences (e-mail messages that i converted it to pdf format para kitang kita yung timestamp) and pictures. the reason i didn't print them, especially the pictures, is because when you check the files' properties, going to the Details tab, makikita mo usually kung kelan sya kinuha at kung anong camera/cellphone gamit to take them. that's a better proof kasi of when it was taken kesa ipa-print ko pa sya
-a red-ribboned marriage contract from the City Registrar. hindi pa ito yung NSO-released document kasi backlog sila. the wedding coordinator had arranged for the contract to be red-ribboned by DFA & get released in 10 days kaya nakuha ko agad to and they said any embassy will honor it kasi nga authenticated na. civil wedding pala kami.

so ngayon napapaisip ako if i have to print all of these pa and resubmit, parang redundant kasi eh dahil na-submit ko na during my initial application. i'm thinking, what if yung accomplished questionnaire, scanned payslips, printout of the employment contract plus a printout of the email message forwarded to me by my wife (forwarded to her by her employer, sent by their company's Xerox scanner via email din  ), a dvd (again) of the correspondences and pictures, the BPI certification with attached savings account information page, and an NSO copy of the marriage contract (i hope available na to bukas ng hapon pagpunta ko sa east ave after my shift).....? will the VO accept them? wala ako remittance slips kasi nga hindi ko kinailangang magrequest sa kanya ng sustento (ka-lalake kong tao eh. hehe) during the time that she's been in canada. i can't ask her for her canadian bank's certification kasi kaka-deplete lang ata ng savings nya sa pagpa-maintain ng binili nyang kotse dun

Since Sept 2007 pa dun si hubby... and every pay day nagpapadala talaga sya kahit 5k to 10k.. pero wala na talaga kahit anung hanap ko eh.. dec 2008 kame kinasal, dahil nagulo ung record namin sa western union dun, nag-iremit na lang kame.. masmura pa ung charge..

Ok na siguro yung 2009 receipts mo.. wala ka naman talaga ipapakita kahit anung pilit nila noh..hehe... Explain mo na lang yun, kahit sa cover letter mo.. pwede naman un..

thanks sis! yeah, yun na nga siguro gagawin ko. will finalize everything this weekend (punta ko NSO bukas for the AoM saka sa tapat, LTO, para sa certification) tapos padala ko na sa monday

 @ Kenj, yeah, I agree with chel12, okay na siguro yun. Kasi I am just wondering why yun iba, panay scanned copies naman pero tinanggap nang VO nila? I do remember yun sinabi ni Ailooney before na mas strict nga talaga sila pag bagong kasal lang yun applicants, kaya lahat nang meron ka dyan, send mo na. Pero I think, baka ang gusto nila hard copies nang pictures nyo kasi maybe tinatamad na silang i-view pa yun nasa DVD? What do you think? Hehehehe!

sige, ipapa-print ko na lang yung mga pictures tapos paste ko sa bond paper para ma-tag ko ng dates (if i can still remember them)

and dami nakagad discussio ilang araw lang ako di nakapag bukas. Kenj, I think better to submit ORIGINAL documents since clearly stated there in your letter from CEM. About the photos, print mo na lang and request ka kaya ng statement of accounts sa bpi kasi di ba doon detalyado? Pero ako sa Security Bank joint account kami pero checking account kasi yun at 1 day processing lang ang bank cetificate sa kanila at iyon din ang submit ko sa CEM. Pay stubs, employment contract etc. ng husband ko scanned copy lang lahat. Pero remittances from Manila Cargo Express original binigay ko since 2008 ng nagpadala sya sa amin at naitago ko kasi receipts. Sa Cargo Express they can provide summary report of remittances. Try mo hingi sa remittance agency nyo or kung thru bank pwede din request yan. God will provide for all your needs. Nothing to worry kapag nakumpleto mo na yan, VISA na darating sa iyo.

thanks po sa encouragement  , we're still praying na hindi na rin kami bigyan ng additional documents. di kc kami nagbigay ng payslip kc di match ung hourly rate ni hubby sa nasa contract, and since last year pa un ganun nung mapromote sya. lately lang napalitan. but we did submit ung T4 and bank confirmation nya (di daw bank cert binibigay ngg TD Trust Canada, ewan ko ke hubby ko pero nakaindicate dun kung how long the acct has been active, kung high, medium, or low ung amount and kung ilang figures, if may existing loans, credit card info if high, low or medium ung outstanding credit and kung ilang figures din), remittance slips (kaya lang last 7 months lang un), bank certificate ko na 6 figures, mga housing loan docs namin na may signature namin pareho... I'm still hoping na sana di strict ung VO na nag-eevaluate ng papers namin. still having faith sa mga experiences nina ate leila at ate micaela na hindi hiningan ng payslips...haist!

pero if ever naman na bigyan kami, till january pa ung 3 months backlog ng payslip nya, so by january pa rin kami makakapagprovide nun .
