Smiley

You just have do ask any question here na gusto mo malaman and I'm sure maraming tutulong sa iyo. Pero ako nag assist sa amin ay AIMS consultant agency pero nanghinayang ako kasi halos lahat ng inputs ay dito ko rin natutunan at nauna na kasi naipasok mga papers at nakapagbayad na kami sa AIMS. Try to read all previous threads. Good luck!

definitely yes, kasi skilled work permit ka na. Kaya na deny yung wife mo before kasi low skilled is not qualified for SOWP pero may ilang province na pwede like I think sa BC. kahit di ka na maapa assist sa agency. Tulungan tayo dito. Ako nga nanghinayang sa binayad namin.

ah I see. iba po ang case pag SOWP, dependent po kasi ito sa validity ng work permit mo. and yes, mas malaki po ang possibility na maapprove ung SOWP nya, just make sure lang po to complete all the needed forms, documents and/or attachments para less hassle and delay. so far po, wala pa naman pong nadedeny dito sa mga kasali sa thread. ang usual cause of denial lang naman po is kung less than 6 months na ung work permit mo (which in your case is hindi naman since kakarenew lang po ng WP mo). back read na lang po kayo ni wifey mo dito sa thread, madami po kayong matututunan. dito lang din po ako nagrely eh. ngayon, waiting na po kami for our visa.

so for now, gather nyo na po ni wifey mo ung mga needed documents. good luck po sa application! Smiley

Hello again sa inyo. Survey lang po sa mga nakapagpamedical na, based on your experience which is better, nationwide or st.lukes? Thanks Smiley

hello, welcome po sa thread. ako po sa st. luke's last dec 1. naforward po sa embassy med results ko ng dec 7. ok naman po, di ka nila papaalisin hanggat di normal results, pero medyo matagal lang. dumating ako 8am, natapos ako 3:30pm. sabi nila mahigpit pero sa experience ko po so far, ok lang naman. ung physical exam ko took only less than 15 mins. ung mga nauna sa kin na nagpapa-physical exam din for US naman, mas matagal tagal. best days to go there is Thu-Fri kc konti po ang tao. dapat maaga ka para mauna sa pila. konti lang naman po ung pila ng nagpapamedical for Canada, ang madami US.

most of the members sa thread na to sa nationwide po nagpa-medical, mas less strict daw po kesa st. luke's at mas mabilis ung flow ng medical, like 2-3 hours tapos na pero matagal magforward ng results sa embassy. another downside is after 2 weeks pa sila magfofollow-up sayo if kelangang mag-repeat ng procedure (usually x-ray) or may problem.

my suggestion po is if sure ka naman po na healthy ka at gusto mong maforward agad results sa embassy, mag-st. luke's ka na lang po. otherwise, go for nationwide.

hello mga bros and sis, pacomment naman po further sa nationwide Grin

korek! i sent an email to Nationwide after exactly two weeks to check if they need something else from me, to see if they have already forwarded the results of my med exam to the embassy. ayun, i got the generic reply na 2-3 weeks processing time and pag hindi nila ako kinontak during this period automatic daw forward na nila sa CEM yung results. try ko kulitin ulit after a week tapos update ko kayo  Smiley

Hi everyone!

Just needed some help regarding this open work permit.

It seemed that this is a very long thread already.  Smiley

I'm kinda new here. Don't even know how to create my own thread..

Anyway, my husband has been working in Canada for almost 4 years now and we are just waiting for the result of our PR application in Saskatchewan.

He told me to research for info regarding Spousal Open work permit since we just submitted the PR application last end of November.

Will the spousal open work permit application affect the PR application? pwede bang sabay para mas mapabilis ang panahon para magkasama kami?

What are the things that I need to do to apply for an open work permit?

I applied for one before for Edmonton naman pero got denied so I was wondering baka may mali akong ginawa sa application. When I got refused the letter said that I have to be a long haul truck driver or my husband has to be one.. Not really sure. Nagregister lang saken was that I am denied of the application. That was June 2010. I applied for it  April.

Can  you please help me naman how I can apply for a spousal open work permit and if it will have any bad effect on our PR application and what are the things and forms that I need..

Your help and feedback will be greatly appreciated... Grin

hi ate chichoy, welcome to this thread!

pwede naman po mag-apply ng spousal open work permit kahit may PR application na. try po to back read, marami po kayong matututunan. si ate jeckay po mabilis naapprove visa nila ng mga anak nya kahit may PR application na sila.

other prerequisites po:
- your husband's work should be skilled, meaning belonging to NOC 0, A or B category lang po
- your husband's work permit should be valid for at least 6 months at the time of application.

a few pages back po, you will see the list of documents na sinubmit ng mga members dito.

here's the link naman po for the instructions and info:
http://www.canadainternational.gc.ca/philippines/visas/working-travailler.aspx?lang=en&view=d.eto

good luck po! if may questions ka po, post ka lang, marami ang ready to extend their help Smiley

Waaahhh!!!! Super thank you for your reply!  Cheesy Indeed I am grateful for all the help I can get.

Natuwa ako dito ha though I find it hard trying to figure things out dito since I am just a few hours new dito sa forum na ito.

I found it interesting and very helpful since some post are similar to me and my hubby's situation.

Sana this time I can get approve na... heart wrenching ang madeny..  Cry

I'm not so sure of my job classification or his.

All I know is that he's currently working at Tim Horton's and when he moves to SK he's gonna be a manger at Dairyqueen.

Ako call center agent for so long since I graduated from College per dami akong skills..

Licensed embalmer ako, HRM Grad though I didn't get to practice it after graduation aside from my small cookie business..

Baka wala ako sa classification..Waaahhh!!!

may kailangan pa bang proof about wedding and stuff for the spousal work permit application?

The thing is, my husband and I got married January 14 2010 pero yung marriage license was issued after that. Umuwi kasi sya dito December 29 and it takes 2 weeks to process at may holiday pa nun kaya di umabot though we talked with the person from NSO where we get the marriage license from sabi naman ok lang na to follow ang license we just have to go with the planned wedding then get married again na may license na..

Would that affect our application kaya? sa PR namin nakalgay Jan 25 na yung second wedding namin..

If we will be asked for proof yung maraming pictures are from the Jan 14 wedding namin..

Or ok lang siguro submit ko na lang ang mga picts ng January 14 wedding pero if they ask for a copy of the album at iba pa.baka magkaconflict pa?.. hay ....scared...
