Hi, sis! You're good to go. Actually, just in case lang yang mga papeles (both nung sayo and ng hubby mo). No need for PDOS. Believe me lahat tinawagan ko aside from mga experience pa nung friends ko before me. Ang kailangan lang ng PDOS from POEA are those that have work permits and are directly hired.

God bless and have a safe trip. Cheesy

Paste ko lang yung post ko before. Page 4 pa ata ito galing hahaha.

Hi, peeps! I'm finally here in Calgary with my husband. It's summer but it feels like Baguio in its coldest. hahaha. Everything went out smoothly and I had no difficulty except, my flight to Calgary was cancelled and I was moved to a flight 2 hrs later. But all is well.

For the departure: I just showed my passport, CEM letter and submitted the form for immigration (the one given to me by the travel agency. You can also get one at the airport kaya lang I advise na you fill it up before you go to the airport so you can go straight to the line). I also prepared by husband's papers just in case they ask for it (OEC, LMO, Work permit).

Once you checked-in your baggage at NAIA, you will be getting it at Vancouver before you go to immigration. Always remember that. Also, you don't fall in line with the OFW sa NAIA. Dun sa tourist/visitor visa. Then in Vancouver, you get to fall in line sa right side with the visitors as well.

Everything went fine sa immigration. The officer didn't even ask for Willy's papers.

Tip: allow at least 3-4 hrs before your domestic flight from Vancouver. It took me 30 mins to get my luggage and 30 minutes at immigration. You also have to locate your gate and check your flight. Para hindi nerbyos ang abutin.. look at your itinerary details really well. Kasi before you get to your luggage, may pila ulet so kung mahaba 30 minutes din yun.

Any questions? Will check this ulet if you have questions. Baka lang makalimutan ko na mag-log. You can pm me if you want to email me. Thanks and God bless.

Thank you so much sis! Nakakakaba na sobra.. heheh.. sana naman maging mabait din ang IO sa amin ng anak ko... ask ko na rin un bang EMBARKATION CARD na binigay ng agent from Korean Air, un na rin ung ipifill-up sa Airport?  tapos dun sa Airport of Destination anu ang ilalagay ko, Vancouver or Calgary? and last 1 ung main purpose ng travel, medyo naconfuse ako,, db others ung box na ititick ko,and then specify the reason na lang?? tama ba ako??? Undecided

Yep! PEI is a typical province, peaceful and conservative. Like my hometown LIPA. Weather here  now is like Baguio pa lang. carry pa ewan ko lang pagdating ng december hehe.

So proud to share the result of my son's English Assessment, sa Pinas Grade 4 sya thank God  Grade 5 na sya dito, kse he got 4 in the assessment, 5 is the highest score. He'll start his classes on Thursday sa Parkdale Elementary School. Sana makahanap na din me ng work dito para di maiwan sa house.  Grin
 Shocked

Hello dear!! Nice to hear your son is doing well... Goodluck on your career. Isn't it too early to apply for work? Damhin muna ang snow... hehe.. Eventually, you'll get a job, we'll pray for that.. Take care and God bless.. Grin Kiss

As for the embarkation forms (maliliit lang yun diba?): hindi ako sure pero siguro i answered the form as ignorant as possible din hahaha. Calgary ka ba muna before mag Lethbridge? I guess Calgary ang ilalagay mo kung ganun. Yung IO ang kukuha tapos may isusulat sya pero isusubmit mo yata yan dun mismo sa magbibigay ng work permit mo kasi diba may mga declaration ng items yan? tama ba? puro "no" lang ako dyan i think. ituturo ka ng IO sa isang office sa corner. Dun mo kukunin yung work permit mo. Don't worry too much tuturuan ka naman eh. The rest is ok basta maging malakas lang loob mo magtanong. Yun lang kailangan mo. Pati prayers syempre. Smiley God bless!

Good luck sis!!! Our prayers are with your application.. Wink Wink Kiss

@ oxie18 good luck po sa application nyo. I'm sure lahat tayo ma-grant ang visa , we just have to keep on praying and helping each other. Kami waiting pa for the enough funds ng mister ko kasi as per consultant namin they need at least CAD$5k daw. We need to wait until Dec 1st week para sa labas ng statement of account at payslip nya as requirements again by the agency. Just keep on praying and be patience.
