For Applicants of 2007 (in London): Has Anyone received documents update letter?

I am interested in knowing and finding out if anyone, who applied between May2007 and Dec2007, has received any documents update letter or any other correspondence from CIC London.

Please reply, only, if you are a London Candidate/Applicant whose time line is between the above given dates. (May2007-Dec2007)

Hi, one of best friend applied from CHC - London (while he was residing in Saudi Arabia) in Feb 2007. Last month (Jan 2010) he got document up-date request from CHC London.....

Yes I'm Pakistani and have applied through London, what's so surprising about it? I live in London so that'll be my visa office.

Hi guys, what will happen if the needed document will not reach london within the 120 days period?

Good for you. I was a London 2007 applicants who got his AOR on August 2007. I received an update request on Jan 17 even though the letter was issued Nov 2. So I had only 55 days to do everything since they needed it by March 2. My office wanted me to give everything by  Feb 20. I have still the employment letter pending as of now with tomorrow or day after being the time I am to receive it and hand it to my office.

It will be Feb 22 or 23 by then. My office has to do some translation for some of my documents. I am not sure if they will make it be March 2 given that February this year is only 28 days!

Does anybody has the same issue like mine? The last letter I received from CHC London is the one asking me if I want to withdraw my application... I received my AOR December 2007 and until now no news from them. I checked my application (e-cas) and it is showing "in process", I am a bit anxious because a friend of mine submitted her application only 3 months ahead of me and she has already processing her medical. I am worried also that they sent me letters and it got lost in transit. What is the best thing to do aside from hopefully waiting for their mails?

Hi all. I would appreciate if you can shed a little answer to my queries:  I filed my Application December of 2007. I applied with a common law partner. The last letter I received from CHC London is asking if I want to withdraw my application, after that I did not hear anything from them. I checked the status of my application in e-cas and it shows "in process". here are my questions:

1. Is it really that slow when it comes to processing of applications?
2. How can I check the real status of my application aside from e-cas?
3. I have separated with my common law partner, will it affect my application? Do I need to inform CHC about it and
    make some changes? How?
4. I lost all the copies of the documents I sent (application), how will I deal with it? Will it be needed in the future?
5. Can I request CHC to make all the sending of document via DHL or FedEx at my expense?

me to Applied on October 2007 received the AOR by end of October 2007 and document e-case showed in process since November 2007
No New from that time till now nothing at all apart from the letter i got by September 2008 requesting me to choose either to complete
the process or to cancel it and i choose to complete by not replying back to them

According to Trackitt website, we realized that the applicants who received
their AOR on October 2007 started to get the update letter (Document Requested letter)
from London Office and i hope this will continue for the coming months, because lots of
us had many plans to make during the next months and all of us need to know what will be
requested from us to be completed next months? and when?

hopefully, i feel that the end of the long road in now along our sight  (hope so)
