Thank God, So finally after 5 Months & 12 days a decision has been made on my application, here are my timelines- in red( as per e-cas)-

We received your application for permanent residence on December 14, 2009.
 
We reviewed your application and sent you a letter on February 10, 2010. Please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us.
 
Your application and supporting documents were received by the New Delhi office. They are pending review.
 
We transferred your application to the New Delhi office on February 17, 2010. The New Delhi office may contact you.
 
Your application was reviewed and we started processing on March 24, 2010.
 
Medical results have been received.
 
A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.

I am also in Canada and i sent my application today under FSW-cat 3.
what are the average time lines for processing these applications in CIO. I am not seeing many applicants inside Canada under category 3.
Please suggest if you know any. just to follow up.

Also, is there any variance in time taken by CIO depending upon the categories they apply. please advise.
