Hello December friends,

I was surprised to read at some place is this blog that validity for PCC (Police Clearance Certificate) is 3 months??!!!!!!..

I just got it stamped 1 week back,, and I need to send my complete application till 18 June.. so Do i need to get it stamped again?

Any advice/Suggestion?

nops, it will be valid throughout the period of 120 days ( up to 18 june for ur case) , as it was not be issued more than 3 month back from the date of recipt at CIC , NS office (MEANS NOT ISSUED BEFORE 15 SEP, 2009 FOR UR CASE). So 3 month land mark is relative to the date of receipt at CIC, NS and not document submission at local CHC.

So it means I should not be borthered by expiration of PCC (3 Months Validity). It was issued on 21th Feb, 2010. I got it satmped after I got AOR request on 19th Feb , 2010.

This PCC should be for the principle applicant (i.e me only)? Or I need PCC for spouse also?.

doglover is right. i have seen such case, one of my frn submitted pcc which was issued 3 months before application to VO. few days ago, VO asked about medical / rprf/PP along with PCC. thanks

doglover, i have seen on some thread that during application to VO, we have to submit photo along with NEGATIVE? is it true? is their any specific about this negative?

Yea they demand for negative in some cases. But i heard that only from some seniors members  who got their visas in August-September2009. Never heard again thereafter. So I am not sure that they require such negatives now a days. Just chill , if they want then ll demand at later stages, it is not important at this stage of submission of documents. Just chill

yea I have sent RPRF, Better is to send at this stage, it will save the time. Otherwise they ll demand that at later stages.
