Application returned for correction on Feb 3 2010.(because i did not put N/A in one of the field)
Application resubmitted to Nova Scotia with correction on 18th Feb 2010.

I don't think 2171 is included in the LIST, I am afraid your application can be rejected if you apply on the base of NOC 2171

HI all,
Can any one give me some hope that why CIO is taking so much time in my case???
My qualification is MCom, M.Phil.(is it acceptable there)?
I had worked as school teacher, college lecturer( ad-hoc) for 5 sessions and now serving as university lecturer in a private uni...
It means i was having exp under 4141,4131 &4121...
At present its 4121 and duration is more than 2.5 yrs....
No research work yet....
Is it the cause of delay??/
My IELTS was also good got 16 points for that too...
kindly throw some light on the matter... and guide me....
its really really very tense..............
And What are the working days and timings of CIO as per Indian timings

Hello Friends,

I just hope u cud still shed some some light over here...

For my POF, I need almost P1M (c21,000) as we are 4 in the family. 

Can i include the value of my own vehicle to somehow compensate the total POF for the VO reqt?
(If yes, do I need an officer to evaluate its actual cost?)

Or the vehicle prop is only honored in Manila embassy? But not in London (my VO)?

Hello gauri,

Don't loose hope. CIO seem to be overwhelmed with applications. Please refer my previous post addressed to you, in my case they have taken 7 weeks between the date of receipt of courier and posting it on e-CAS as received on 31 December. As per a few posts on other threads, they seem to focussing on the applications received until 31 December. So you will succeed one day.

Who knows there may be policy change for the applications received after 31 December.

Hello The Low_Sparrow,
                               I would advise you to try and check up on what exactly is allowed by your visa office.I know of Visa offices that does not allow that due to the fact that it is not within the class of liquid asset.You cannot easily turn it into cash for your journey as at when due.Hence,they may object to this but check up with your visa office should you be lucky.

Hello everyone... :

Just want to share to you guys., we just recieved our AOR at this moment thru e mail...Feb 20, 2008...Our CC was debited last Febuary 10...so a matter of 10 days before they had given us the AOR....Thanks God...we just passed the first step and we pray and hope that everything will turn out good up to the last end....

Gauri...just check your email...you will receive it soon....i feel it...Keep on praying...!!!God is Good all the time!!! Just believe!!!
