Reference letter should have the duration of employment, salary, designation and most importantly job duties. Since FSW-1 is based on job duties only this is what IO need. If your experience letter has job duties then you are good else you need new letter (reference letter) with job duties

I would like to ask u , i had experience certificates with no job details... But now i had applied to my previous colleges for fresh experience certificates with detailed job descriptions. Hopefully i will get it done.. but my only concern is these new certificates will have new dates of issue... whether its okay and acceptable?
Another thing is I have to gather references also.. right..
for that i have to contact my senoirs..
but they have no personal letter heads nor vising cards.. what alternate is available inh this case...
please guide me soon..
as I dont want to waste any time in preparing these docs.. I just want to be ready so that I can get it filed in the same fortrunate week ..

Ur Reference lettrs can be in today's date No problem

If u are unable to get reference leters from your previous employers u can declare them on affidavit of Rs. 20 duly notorised.

but its upto the discretion of v/o or I/o to consider the affidavit. In my case it worked....

I received it through e-mail and paid by credit card which was processed on 5th of Feb, and received AOR on 8th of Feb.

Dear Gauri the recent dates are acceptable as Accounts said.

I am not sure what you mean by references. If you have a letter from employer with all job duties, designation, salary and duration of employments thats all you need in name of reference letter.

Other than that you need notarized copies of employment contracts (Appointment letter)

These two things will be enough to prove your work experience

credit card debited: feb. 10
aor: waiting...

for how long should we wait for the AOR, any idea friends?

Flox, hold on my CC was posted on 4th Feb, It was debited on 9th and I got the AOR on 9th

So if your card is debited already it may be just matter of a day or so

file arrived Dec 8th so hopefully we are next! but i think we might get our file back for using wrong payment method.

after i payed online i realized that it's for people inside Canada only. so i sent the application along with the receipt AND the 5620 form. i got the refund mail back yesterday for my online payment without my complete file. the mail stated that my file contained the 5620 form so my online payment is invalid.
do you think this means they accepted the file and will charge my CC today or tomorrow?

reference letter are those in which one of your colleague certifies that he knows u personally and can tell CHC about u on the verifications.
In my case i have applied for recent experience certificates.. i will get new exp letters from all of my previous employers (existing principals of colleges). but for references I need to give reference letters from seniors...
My concern is about new and latest experience letters , whether these are acceptable.. however i do have old ones but they dont have details in the prescribed format....
I think now its clear , and i am able to express..
