Hi doc,
How are u doing ?My husband is working in middle east as a doctor.We r planning to land in september 2011.We are not sure should he quit his job or should me and kids settle down in Canada initially and later on he join us.Can u please tell me about the online courses and the initial survival jobs for doctors in canada.thanks....best of luck

only you can set yoru priorities accoridngly, noone can give u 100% satisfactory answer to this one. Moreover survival jobs are generic for all i.e, security, pumps, resztaurants, supermarkets etc. so goodluck with your endeavours

Since he has a good job, like this poster has said, please you people should  land and check things out before he resigns from his job.

He can take  holiday and you complete the landing and the rest of the  formalities.
