i am planning to fly via mum to yow (ottawa) flight.
it has a stop at london(uk) . so do we need some visa for uk also?
if i want to visit near by places during the stay period ... then ??

To get out of the Airport you will need a Visa otherwise you won't be allowed.

You don't require visa for UK while you are in transit.

but if you are going through the U.S you must have one whether you leave the terminal or not.The immigration officers wont even allow you to board a plane to the U.S if you dont have transit visa in the first place. So please note that.

i booked a ticket via Jet Airways and its operated fro London by Air Canada .

The luggage allowed as told to me by the agent is 1 of 23 Kg only + hand bag and Laptop bag ( Air canada allows only 1 bag)
and for extra luggage they will charge 75 USD

I want to know if i go to the local jet airways office .. can they help me with the luggage??
