Hi Guys

Did anyone have any issues at immigration the first time they entered Canada after the PR was granted? Do you go in the Canadian queue or the Non Canadian one? Also did you get questioned about anything or asked to present anything other than your passport?
Im going to Canada next week for the first time having got my PR.

Thanks

Do you have your PR card? If you do you should show it at the border along with your passport. If not, you should get a travel document issued from your local embassy.

Unless you are a Canadian citizen, you go in the non Canadian queue.
Do you mean you are landing or just returning after a trip away and have your PR card? If you have the PR card show it along with your passport and you'll be absolutely fine.
If you are landing you should have your passport with the visa inside it and your COPR. Also if you are importing any goods or having good follow you will need some additional forms.

I have done both and didnt get questioned about anything that wasnt standard. Don't worry Smiley

So you are landing.  Your passport will have the stamp foil attached to it.  You go thru the Non-Canadian queu and will have to go to immigration after.  There they will ask you your address in Canada to send your PR Card.  Like what pinklady said if you are importing anything or you are shipping personal effects later you need the goods to follow form.
