I need some information about immigration, please.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Bruno, I'm portuguese and I'm 33 years old.
I'm working at a multinational construction company and I am Quantity Surveyor since 2001.

Today Europe is experiencing a serious crisis and construction is an industry that is getting worse every day. Because of that I'm intend to immigrate, to improve my living conditions.

So please, could you help me, and tell me how it works all immigration process?
What I need to do, to start all process?
Could you tell me step by step?

I'll apprecite if you help me.

You'll need to do some research through the CIC web site to determine which immigration stream you might qualify under. There are several different immigration streams and each has its own requirements and rules.

The immigration categories you might qualify under are Federal Skilled Worker class, Quebec selected skilled workers and Provincial nominees. These are the categories you should read up on.
