Finding the status of PR Card

Hi,

We are a couple that immigrated to Canada 3 months ago. We are yet to receive our PR cards in mail. Although the Immigration Officer who did our paperwork said it will be in 6 weeks.

Is there a way to check when we will get our card ? Does the Immigration office answers calls or is there a hotline that tells us the status of our PR card.
