Financial Evaluation form

HI, I'm being sponsored by my Canadian husband, we both live outside Canada and have one child (He's already canadian).

My question is, do we still need to fill up the Financial Evaluation form ( IMM 1283) ? or just the Sponsorship Evaluation Form? The instruction confused us, we just wanted to make sure. Thank you for your help
