YES! atlast iam done, Gracias a Dios...MIL GRACIAS A DIOS
sunday i recived my passport with the visa stamped on it,along with it came the COPR and 3papers with general informacion about the visa and about how to start my life in canada!
i really dunno what to write about my experince, all i know is that damascus office are AMAZING, very human,understanding,polite and helpful... if anyone of u has any question regarding the interview or anything jst ask and ill answer,i aint gonna post all my experince,u ask and ill answer.
thx alot to all the friends i met here,i know we became friends due to our mutual dilema:P but seriously thx for the support and knowledge u shared.
my time line is:
Sent Application to CPC-M: Oct-17-2008
Sponsorship Approval: Nov-17-2008
Application sent to damascus: Nov-18-2008
AOR Received : Nov-25-2008
Interview: May-13-2009
Passport request: May-20-2009
Passport sent: June-17-2009
Visa Recived: June-21-2009
The delay for the interview is my fault i wud have finished in may but i had some personal obsticales.

God has given us a lot to be thankful. You know , your time line is way too fast except for the interview...
My husband asked the lawyer about the declaration card, he said to write, landing as PR where they ask about the status.
with whom you are traveling, I am with luftanza, it is about 1135$

rortia go with BMI (its british) its for 1170$
with lufthansa u will need an escale visa ull have to apply at the german embassy in rabyie it will coast I THINK 80 euros and it needs 2 days.
my advice go with BMI.

Congratulations!! I hope all the feelings of uncertainty that have been looming over you for all these time are finally gone! Welcome to Canada!!
The last thing we heard from CIC is that they received my husband's fingerprints from the RCMP on June 11...and so far, that's it.
I wonder when they'll contact us again and when we'll get through with this!
