What you do have already is the receipt number. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/e-services/index.asp and click on "Check......Your application status." (should take you to https://services3.cic.gc.ca/ecas/?app=ecas&lang=en). I also suggest signing up for e-cas tracker, which is a site separate from CIC that I believe a member here created (should be the first Google result).

But for eCAS access what would I need? I haven't received anything yet since we send our sponsorship package. We just have the FedEX confirmation.

The CIC Call Centre. 1-888-242‑2100 Mon-Fri  8-4 local time in Canada only. I have no experience calling outside of Canada but some people have reported success. Immipedia notes that, "it is possible to reach the CIC call centre from outside Canada via Foreign Affairs Canada: +1 613 944 4000 (for an agent: options 1,2,1,2,1 ... then 0 to skip the message)."

You are a genius! thanks so much, I called the 613 number and I managed to get through using Skype from Singapore and best of all, they informed me that instead of email, they sent me a physical letter but that I got approved! A really warm heart felt thanks!!!

Hello every one,

I finally send all my spousal documents to Case processing Center - Mississauga, ON via UPS yesterday. Tracking shows that  They receive them this afternoon. Will Case processing center send me any thing  prior to getting the final approval letter / email ?

Really appreciate if any one can help me with this.
