Finally got my PR visa, but too late. It's expired !!

Hey Guys,

I have been waiting since TWO WEEKS for the Paris Office to send me a new medical form. So I can redo my medicals and they
can extend the valitidy of my 'expired' visa I got.

I don't know how to behave...do I write them an e-mail or call them, maybe they put me on hold!? Or should I just wait couple
days more?

They sent me the e-mail on February 3rd 2011, that in the next few days I will receive a new medical form. Usually it takes one
week for them to send it, but not TWO!?

Please help...I am loosing my patience here.. !!

Hopefully it will get there in a few more days - if not, contact that MP again who was willing to help you.  I wouldn't try to deal with them alone at this point.

Use the medical form from the Appendix in the Region Specific Guide and go do the medical.  Send the receipt to the Paris visa post by courier and include a cover letter with your name, file no., date of birth.  Explain why you are doing the new medical.  Mark it to the attention of the program manager. It's the same medical, no matter the form.

 @ Ryessome: That's what I was thinking too, this morning. It must be the same form...so I can just get it from the Application Kit and go do my medicals. I'm gonna do that and send them a letter explaining why I send them a new medical. That's gonna speed up that process a bit..

Hello everybody,

I didn't write you for so long. So just wanted to say that I did my second medicals and that my DMP sent everything to Paris on March 11th 2011. Still didn't get any answer from Paris, for the passport request. I wrote them an e-mail and asked how long it is going to take..let's see the answer. Should I send it to the Program Manager (Mr. Alain Théault) as well?

Have a good day and I'll keep you updated...hope this whole thing is going to end soon. I can't wait to have my PR card..
