I have few questions to you.

1) R u getting all your documents  photocopies notarized?

Not all of them because it is very expensive unless i find a lawyer who can do it with reasonable price

2) How many months bank statement r u submitting?

Since i arrived canada it will be almost one year and 3 months (but you don't have to) 6 months are enough or just a bank letter.

3) R u signing ur applications again?

yes with new dates.

4) R u submitting any other proof of legal stay other than ur study permit?

Yes, and i have already done that with the CIO,

copy of my student visa stamped in my passport with the entry stamp.

copy of my first and second study permits.

copy of transcript from my old school and copy of the certificate which i have been granted.

copy of my acceptance letter from the new school (the college) with a proof of enrolment letter from them.

copy of my paid fees for the first semester in the college, 6300$.

copy of my student ID card which i have from the college.


I think i will not send my application before october because i have all of my documents ready except of the saudi police clearance and the non conviction certificate which fedex lost it.

also I am thiking of notarizing only the employment letters, expereince letters and the degree certificate.
Can you advise if it will be okay to not notarize the below:

1) work permit photocopies
2) Visa photocopies
3) passport bio data page
4) 10, 12th markscard photocopy

Am not notarizing my study permit at all !!!!


they are the department who issue the study or work permits, regardless whether they are canadian embassies abroad or the cic inside canada.

they can verify your work permit just by checking your information in their system because it is an official document issued by citizenship and immigration canada.

the visa is an official document issued by Citizenship and immigration canada as well, so no need to get it notarized. (it looks very ridiculous when we notarize documents issued by CIC to be submitted to CIC, regardless which department you are dealing with.


What do you mean by the markscard 10,12th ?

Hi Professional 1, yes you are right , we dont need to notarize them ( in fact they are already on my non notarized list)

10th and 12th are secondary and post secondary education certificates so i was thinking if i shall notarize them or not? also what about passport bio data page.

Actually for me, i will send the original secondary education certificate issued in english language, because we can get it as much as we want by paying fees to the ministry of education in my country and choose which langauge, whether in my native langauge or english.

so i already have the original secondary certificate in english stamped by the ministry of education's official seal in my country and inside a sealed envelop stamped by the ministry of education and signed by them.


for the passport bio data page, it is up to you because of many reasons : you have already entered canada by this passport (means that a visa officer has seen and checked your passport carefully to stamp the visa on it in the canadian embassy in your country and another immigration officer has made duble check again on your passport at the port of entry and entered all of the data related to that passport in the CIC computer system which can be easily verified by any official canadian department especially CIC representatives).

the second reason is, they are going to ask for your passport in order to stamp the visa on it, so they will have the chance to see the entire pages of the original passport before you immigrate to canada.


However, it is still up to you for the passport but not necessary.
