The proposed changes to FSW point system will benefit Filipinos for the following reasons,They will benefit from the minimum English Language requirement since they tend to be more proficient in English and the adjustment that Technical people can get full points for only ten years of education. The Philippines has 6 years of Elementary and 4 Years of High School. This has always handicapped them in the Education points. In 2010 Filipinos overtook Chinese as the largest source group of Immigrants to BC.I believe these changes will continue this trend, though Chinese accounted for 80% of Business Immigrants to BC.My take Chinese owned businesses with Filipino workers to serve the customers. The Bread Garden I was in yesterday had a Chinese owner and 3 Filipino staff
