Hi! Sa Winnipeg din ang landing namin ng family ko. May nahanap ka na ba na apartment? A friend of mine is trying to reserve one unit for us at Villagio Aparmtment. I hope will get our visas soon!
Hi Rene. Di pa ako naghahanap ng apartment ngayon. I met a family of 3 (ma, pa & son) during the CIIP seminar. The principal applicant is a lady CPA. Makikitira muna ako sa kanila. They will rent a basement @ 600 CAD kaya makiki share lang muna ako sa house bill while naghahanap ng work and eventually find my place. God-willing our visa will be in our hands soon. God bless! |

hi westpoint, ako i used an agency. However, should i know that this forum exists before i submitted my docs hindi ko na sila kinuha.. kayang-kaya kahit walang consultant. This forum gives everything you need to know. Very generous mga tao dito... and the best part, its all for free!
i think it's ok lang po sa inyo, and i can see you had achieved almost everything in your application ang mahirap lang po talaga ay yung nagbayad kana, gumastos ng malaki at mababalitaan mo na uulit ka ulit sa umpisa....baka di ko malaman gagawain sa consultant.....the best talaga dto is you will learn a lot from all experiences.. |

hi people, been busy these past few days and the days ahead. ako lang yata sa mga waiting for visa ang medyo "HAY, BUTI NA LNG WLA PA ANG VISA"  well, i choose to be sad later, don na lng sa canada, for the long cold days na malayo sa ako sa comfort zones ko, my family, the climate, friends, etc. habang andito pa tayo, lets relish it. madugo ang laban doon with homesickness....sabi nga ni kiko, baunin natin happy memories as much as we can get.  |

so true. if you're really decided then go for it again. check the rules in the cic site and see if your skill matches the 29 skill sets and validate if it still hasn't reached the cap. pag ok pa and pasado sa online assessment then go thru the process. if you'll start now then chances are your visa will be approved early next year. kaya mo yan westpoint. in parallel, go after that crooked agency. ipa-refund mo yung binayad mo sa kanila in full. |

Hi Heatspine, sobra talagang nakakainis!!! i was not able to sleep well becoz of this. imagine, kesyo bukas pa daw masend copy ng letter to cio, waybill and payment form coz the agency owner did not come to office today?! i told them if she were apologetic she could have made up for it by sending me the copy even though she did not come to office. i was thinking of telling them that i will give them until end of january and if nothing comes up i will pull out my application and they should really refund my money! if they do not make true to their word that they will furnish me with the docs (that they've said they really had re-sent to CIO) that i'm requesting until Friday, then it's time to pull back...it is soooo disappointing  I told them too that there is another ministerial instruction coming out this year and it might affect my application as well, and so is my IELTS...THAT would really spell disaster... tama c heatspine....if you are willing demand for a refund..this is a tremendous neglect... and do it yourself...this happened to me also pero mas grabe yang sa iyo, yung akin half pa nman sa pf ng agent ang nbayd ko pero walang refund kahit piso..at nasa initial stage pa kami noon, so hindi masyado mataas ang panahon na nawala pero it caused me sleepless na rin kc dinamdam ko ng sobra ang pagkakamali ng application dahil sa agent.. |

just want to ask if the first reply from the CIO after the initial submission of the complete documents (that is after June 26, 2010) or the AOR be in the form of email or through mail by courier? i'm afraid that nobody might be around to receive the mail when it will be delivered.

true true, they are very unprofessional, feeling ko tuloy niloloko ako, imagine, i was never remissed with my status inquiry and then all of a sudden i'll get this information first hand pa from CIO and not them! they really have no intention of telling me this bruhahaha had it not been for CIO letter, and thanks to our very very snail mail haleluya kahit pano it kept me posted. they said me niresend na raw,??? maybe a strategy for me not to pull out? but this time, pag alang proof im gonna pull out my fault...i trusted them na kahit wala silang pinakitang correspondence before, i believed them when they said CIO has not responded...so foolish of me  I am also thinking of filing a complaint against the agency if i find out na "again" wala naman sila talagang ginawa to correct their errors...i've wasted precious TIME, MONEY, EFFORTS and ENERGY completing my papers, sadly this is the outcome. My heart bleeds for you westpoint, perhaps you can mention the name of this "good for nothing agency" so that others will be warned. |

yes, in my case, every docs were sent thru email except the Medica Request.. congrats! it seems you have gone far on your application process.. it would be nice if thru email at least faster communication.. as in my case i haven't receive yet any feedback from the CIO.. the compete applications were sent last sept 21 but no response as of this time...hope to receive a positive feedback. |
