I finally got my visa 8 months after I initially applied to CIO-NS and 4 months after full docs submission to the embassy, will be leaving for Canada next week.

It is possible to declare closed freinds to gain additional points.
I just read in this website ( in assestment form there is a question there if u have releatives,closed freinds )
i dont have relatives but i do have a closed freinds living in Ontario.

"umuwi ka na sa Philippines" Is this for good? Hindi ka na ba babalik sa Australia? If so, then I think you should inform Australia visa office about the change of your address.

Have a question, can my spouse and I leave my kids before their visa expires? What would be the implications of NOT going altogether as a family?

As far as I have read from the advice of seniors on these forum as well as the legality of the visa.I believe you must land in Canada before your visa expires (otherwise visas has no expiration that you can land anytime you like).It applies to the whole family members.It is your option if you land with all the family or other member/s will follow within the visa validity.

dec 4, 2009 was a sad day for me.  I just found out that my application from NS was returned to me since i wasnt able to answer question number 11 and furnish a detailed job description of a registered nurse.  This coming wednesday i will be meeting  with an immigration consultancy about my case.  Am i still valid to reapply? 

I waited like 2 months for my AOR and this thing happens.
