good evening sa lahat, We got our PPR na po, just this morning via email. Super tagal din po nmning hinintay: Meds done Aug 23; Meds submitted Sept. 6; PPR today Nov. 15. I just want to share our timeline pra sa mga naghihintay din. Thnks and goodluck to all of us  congratulations!!! =) |

@ albert_alo - thank you for sharing your experience... i just would like to ask regarding sa proof of funds mo.. in what manner ka nag present sa proof of funds mo? bank draft? cash? bank ceritificate or ano? are they strict sa proof of funds mo? did they really check on it?
hi. as regards proof of funds, i brought 60% cash( in US dollars) and 40% bank draft. Honestly, the immigration officer did not even bother to look at it. he just asked how much money did we bring.. indicate it on the CPR. and that's about it.. |

sorry, it's just now that i got to have to chance to drop by...
matagal din po kasi ako nagisip isip... only to find out 500 na ang RNs sa CAP...
ibig po ba sabihin... JUNE 2011 na ako ulit pwede mag apply?
or pwede parin apply, pero JUNE 2011 na iprocess?

For the proof of funds, you can bring cash and bank draft. it would be better if you bring canadian dollars here..based on my experience, we have to open a US dollar account first and then a checking account. conversion of a US dollar to canadian dollar is low. meaning 1 US dollar is equivalent to .090 canadian dollars..Mahirap lng maghanap ng canadian dollars sa pinas. BTW, be careful with Financial Investment Assistant here in canada. They will let you open two checking accounts if you are a couple and would not tell you that it is possible to have one checking instead. Good thing that we have a kababayan here in Scarborough who is working as financial investment consultant for TD Canada Trust. Kaya this saturday, i will talk to that indian guy who assisted us and have one of our checking accounts be terminated..mang-aaway me.. hehehe |

Hi Albert! I'm a newbie here, I could also feel the excitement of your arrival to Canada. I wish everybody would have the same success story such as yours. BTW, it's so interesting to know that we have the same NOC. Perhaps I could have some pointers from you (if you don't mind) as I go along the way. Yup, but the thing is they will release another instuction on which NOC they will be needing. So, some NOC in the list maybe retained and some will be removed. |
