hi there!  pls help me.  i just got my ielts result 2 days ago.  I computed again my points for the FSW.  And it is 67 points.  I am still qualified for the independent immigrant kaso lang nasa median lang yung score ko.   Do i still have a chance for the FSW?  btw, i am a registered nurse with four years of experience, single and no relatives in canada and at the same time double major one in business and nursing.

Congrats at hawak mo na pala visa ninyo.balak sana nman this february o march kung mura ang tiket. actually dat korean air kami kasi sasabay kami sa lola ko pabalik niya Canada eh korean air siya. Sa mississauga muna cguro kami magstay kasi andun nakatigil lola ko. hopefully dumating na din visa namin kasi ang hirap pa din magfinalize ng mga plan habang di mo hawak ang visa eh ang msiter ko nga nasa Qatar ka pa di pa makapagresign kasi nga waiting pa kami sa visa. sana pag me nakita ka mura o ok kausap na travel agency inform mo kami dito. i'll do the same..im also planning to go Korean Air's office in makati.

suggestion ko if going next summer to canada, sa march kayo kumuha ng ticket. kasi sa airlines ang low season ay hangang march 31 lang the april rates are higher by around $150 to $250 more.

Hi Good day everyone.
Submitted my application last may '09 to NS and received a letter on Aug 05, 2009 telling me to submit the complete application to CIC buffalo. My application returns last September informing me to take IELTS. Got the score of 6.0 in IELTS. Re-submitted on the last week of october at the visa office.  How long do you think my application be process? Is my IELTS passed the required immigration band score? Thanks a lot!

Hi che - sa june pa ako punta ng Toronto... most likely, early next yr will buy na my ticket. Sa Dec 29 ang PDOS ko for early preparation. Got my confirmation to that date already for PDOS.

 @ momsy...wala gaanong travel agencies d2 sa aming province....i believe from manila ka...mas marami jan cheaper fares, mas maraming promo rates..hopefully meron rin akong ma scout na cheaper price,,..hehehe....
.ur hubby is also working in the mid east? ako rin..sa dubai nmn xa....pag VL nya this april.....dretso na rin kami travel for canada...
So u will also be in ontario....kasi mississauga ka....magkalapit lang sa brampton,ontario,...kasi dun kami....hopefully mg meet din tayo dun ano? member ka ba ng P2C?

I have a question for those who have received their visa.  Is it true that the expiration of the visa depends on the date you completed your medical exam?

Thanks for the nth time din...hahaha.  Ok lang yan, we've been waiting in silence for a long time, as if we're holding our breath for the ppr to arrive then the passports.  Now we are just shouting for joy...

Thanks! I wish for the same...  I sent our passports via DHL.  In a medium-sized brown envelope, I placed the following:

1.  the 2 passports (mine & my son's)
2.  form 'appendix A'
3.  2 very small brown envelopes containing 2 photos each (specs are in the app. B)

As instructed, I affixed the barcode label at the outside back cover of each passport.  That's it.

I received them back via DHL also.  Aside from the passports, the package included the documents that they returned (TOR, police clearance, diploma, bank cert., etc.).  They also returned the 3 photos in a small brown envelope that we sent together with the initial application.  I wonder why   It also contains a letter from the embassy, the form 'Confirmation of Permanent Residence', immunization record form and instructions from CFO on how to register for their pre-departure seminars.

They did not return my birth cert., marriage cert. with annulled annotation, NBI clearance, the notarized copies, my brothers' birth cert. and copies of their Canadian identification, cert. of graduation and IELTS report form.
